MANDATARY
mandatary (man-d<<schwa>>-ter-ee), n. 1. A person to whom a mandate is given. See MANDATE(5).2. An agent, esp. one who acts gratuitously but is entitled to be indemnified for expenses incurred in carrying out the mandate. — Also termed (in Roman law) mandatarius. 3.Civil law.
