DUUMVIRI
duumviri (d[y]oo-<<schwa>>m-v<<schwa>>-rI), n. pl.[fr. Latin due “two” + viri “men”]
1.Roman law. Magistrates elected or appointed in pairs to hold an office or perform a function.
duumviri municipales (d[y]oo-<<schwa>>m-v<<schwa>>-rI
