direction  (di-rek-sh<<schwa>>n).1.  The  course  taken  in  relation  to  the  point toward  which

something  or someone is moving; a point to  or from  which a  person  or thing  moves <the storm

moved in a northerly direction>.2. The course on which something is aimed <the direction of the

trial>.3.  An  act of  guidance  <under  the  chair’s  direction>.4.  An  order;  an  instruction  on  how  to
