de ejectione custodiae (dee ee-jek-shee-oh-nee k<<schwa>>s-toh-dee-ee). [Latin “ejectment

of a ward”] Hist. A writ available to a guardian after being ejected from the ward’s land during the

ward’s  minority.  •  The  writ  lay  to  recover  the  land  or  person  of  the  ward,  or  both.  The  French
