ALLEN CHARGE

Allen  charge.Criminal  procedure.  A  supplemental  jury  instruction  given  by  the  court  to

encourage  a  deadlocked  jury,  after  prolonged  deliberations,  to  reach  a  verdict.  Allen  v.  United
