ad  quem  (ad  kwem),  adv.[Latin]  To  whom.  • This term  is used  as  a  correlative  to  a  quo  in

computation  of  time  or  distance.  For  example,  the  terminus  a  quo  is  the  point  of  beginning  or

departure; the terminus ad quem is the end of the period or point of arrival. [Blacks Law 8th]
